About the Plant Integration Team
The plant integration team is built so design and commissioning are not two companies waving at each other from opposite ends of a cable.
Roles
- Controls: sequences, interlocks, and recoveries.
- Mechanical: reach, fixtures, and access for maintenance.
- Commissioning: proving the sequence with the people who will own it.
On the floor
Someone who wrote the logic attends the first production nights. Alarms that looked tidy in the office are edited where they actually fire.
Handover
Handover includes backups, I/O lists, and a restart procedure. If those are missing, the job is not finished.
