Our graphic design services are performed by owner Erin Kelly Herrera, who also sometimes collaborates with a network of freelance designers she knows and trusts.
That’s a fair question. We know there are larger companies doing great design work, and we know it’s also easy to get quick design help online. But what we often hear from our new clients is that the design work they got back didn’t really reflect their point of view or that they didn’t feel like they were involved enough in the creative process.
Because we are a small team, we can provide personalized service at competitive pricing. We consider ourselves part of your team and are actively engaged in your success.
We start by getting to know you – your goals, your voice, your design tastes. This part is important, whether we are building on your current brand or starting with a fresh idea. We involve you along the way to make sure we’re on the right track.
We design the art for all our Chicago city scene greeting cards and Chicago holiday cards. Some of the art we develop digitally, and some pieces are hand-made using a family technique Eclectik Designs Owner Erin Kelly Herrera learned from her father Jim Kelly. They both create those custom cards using a “collage process” that starts with hand-cut and torn pieces of paper, incorporates digital design, and ends with a one-of-a-kind piece of art that our customers and their recipients are sure to remember.
We love digital marketing! A lot of our clients see us as their go-to design team, which means we help design some digital marketing campaigns, too. But our clients tell us they get great feedback from sending a traditional greeting card to their most important connections, whether it’s one of our city scene greeting cards or a simple note thanking them for a great meeting or letting you help them with a big project.
It’s also a great way to re-connect with past contacts you may want to re-establish a relationship with who may not see your other marketing outreach. Because we personalize the cards with your branding and messaging, it is a perfect complement to your other outreach strategies.
You can add your name, logo, a photo and a custom greeting. You get to choose if you want your information in color or black, and you even get to pick the envelope style. If you want even more customization, let us know.
That all depends on what you need. We work in print and digital formats to create custom and personalized projects. You can start by shopping our holiday cards, note cards, photo cards, stationery and more.
If you don’t see what you’re looking for or want to work together on a custom design, let us know. You might get inspiration looking through the portfolio of some other projects we’ve worked on.
Sure. We have a number of add-on options. We can stuff, seal, address, stamp and even mail them directly to your recipient list, from your own return address. Your business contacts can get a personalized card from you without you having to lick a single envelope or stand in line at the post office. See break out of services here.
Standard orders you buy from our site typically ship within three to five business days. We’ll let you know of any delays, such as if an item is on back order.
Personalized orders are typically shipped within seven to ten business days from when you give us final approval of the files. We can often rush your order for additional fees.
If you want a custom design and other add-on services, we’ll work out a timeline for designing, approving, printing and delivering your order.
We accept returns of standard products within seven days of you receiving the shipment. If the product is still in the condition it was in when we shipped it, we will issue a refund, minus the original shipping costs.
Unfortunately, we aren’t able to accept returns on any custom items that have been approved.
We partner with several printers in the Chicago area. All of our cards are printed in the USA on environmentally friendly paper.
Our go-to paper is manufactured by the Domtar Corporation. Its standards require that for every tree harvested in a managed forest, several more are replanted or naturally regenerated in its place. You can see more about Domtar’s products and contributions in this great video.
We do offer free shipping within the contiguous United States on your first order of $250 or more when you sign up for our newsletter, which often includes special promotions and discounts. Every package we ship out includes a special gift pack of assorted Eclectik greeting cards that we hope you and those you care about will enjoy!

If you select one of our Chicago Charity Greeting Cards, 10% of the card proceeds will be donated to an organization of your choice. We already work with many great ones, but if you have another one you want to support, just connect us with the executive director or another senior leader who can give us consent.
If you purchase Style A or B, we will give them the proceeds but won’t be able to personalize it with the organization’s information.
When you shop our store, look for the Style options C-F. That’s when we will be able to add the charity to the back of your greeting card. It gives them great exposure and lets your card recipients know about the organizations, communities and causes that are important to you.
We’d love to help showcase your Chicago charity! Contact us to participate. There are no upfront costs to be included.
We specialize in web design – the look and feel of your site and how it visually expresses you and your work. We partner with a developer who builds the “back end” of your site, so we are able to manage the whole process for you with one seamless experience.
When we finish your web project, our developer will provide a complimentary, 30-minute tutorial on everything you need to know to navigate your site and update your content.
We don’t have writers in-house, but we maintain a network of copywriters, editors and other content creators whose work we love. If your web project needs fantastic copy to go along with a stunning design, we will custom-build a team to make your site a memorable user experience.
